Almost There!

This school year has been such a challenge for educators, students, parents, administrators, caregivers, etc. Starting the year virtually, moving to in person a couple of days, then in person for 4 days, or remaining virtual has been challenging for everyone!

Today is the "unofficial start to summer" and we all need a break. As a teacher, you have to remember why you became a teacher, or you might not want to continue as a teacher. I am sure many people will be retiring at the end of the year, and I really can't blame them. The demands for educators these past few months is beyond understanding for most people who do not have school age children.

I am not only a teacher, but also a parent. Trying to teach a child that doesn't take you seriously as a teacher-that's fun too!

I like to try and remain positive (or I might cry!) We have come so far. We have learned so much! Our students and children will be ok. Listen to them, be there for them, and have some well deserved fun with them this summer. We are almost to the finish line for the year!
