Summer is Here!

Summer is here and now that school is out, my to do list is growing (doctor appointments, mechanic, donations for Salvation Army, sell some toys, etc.). I want to relax and read some good books but, my daughter will sit around like a bump on a pickle if able to.

I decided to create a jar of activities for us to use. After some online research and thoughts of previous summer activities, I came up with over 50 ideas that I placed on paper strips and placed them in the jar. So far we have used one idea from the jar-look at photo albums.

Since I have only one daughter, I got into taking pictures. I made some books through Snapfish, and she loves going through them. (Hmm, maybe we should make a summer album in August….number 61).

Next week she has a morning camp for the week, and then of course there will be family mini getaways for the weekend, but we need to have some focus for those other days.
